Guy - Adopted 1/8/05 I am a brindle brown pit bull mix, who loves to play fetch with a ball, bring it back to you and drop so you can throw it again.  I know basic commands such as "sit", and am very good around small kids.  Before coming to the shelter, someone was mean to me and cropped my ears too close, but I haven't let that affect my personality.  I have been good around small kids that have come to see and play with me, but no one has given me a chance.  It's hard to stay in the shelter for as long as I have, and I'm afraid that my time is about up, unless I can find a home.  Would you give me a chance and take me home with you?  I would make an excellent companion, and am eager to please.  I have been at the San Jose Animal Care Center, 2750 Monterey Road in San Jose since November 18th.  Give me a chance to get out of my cage and settle down, and I'll make you an excellent companion.
